I wanted to play along with the sketch challenge and thought it would be perfect for making an engagement card for our oldest daughter. This was the card I'd made a while back to set aside for my daughter's engagement Ladybug Love by mamaxsix at Splitcoaststampers but my kids reminded me how much their sister HATES ladybugs (their dorm was infested every spring!) She loves b/w though so I stuck with the same color scheme. I flipped the sketch and had to use circles because I couldn't find the blades to go with my CM oval cutting system grrrrrr! I had picked up this ribbon and the hearts after Valentine's day on clearance. I cut my dp and mounted onto a piece of Black cs then ran the ribbon across the center and adhered to a white base. I cut the circles using circle Nestabilities and embossed the greeting in black ep. I adhered the wood hearts using some dimensionals to keep the points up. I added the black pearls to balance things out a bit. This is the big weekend....her bf messaged us to let us know that he is taking her out to dinner and popping the question this Saturday! So excited for them!
