Here is my card for today's Ways to Use It challenge, WT370 - Ruffles. I don't have any ruffle ribbon, so I used an image with ruffles, an Orchid. I love Orchids, so for Easter, my husband bought me one. It is very different from my other orchids, I tend to gravitate towards brighter colors and more showy blooms, and I was quite surprised at how appealing this delicate little Orchid is. It is the softest butter yellow on the outside edges, with the slightest hint of lavender near the base. And the center of the petals are nearly white. The column is a near exact match to Rose Red and the anther cap is bright yellow. I tried to copy it as best I could, but it is pretty pitiful compared to the real thing, lol.

Sounds like you have a beautiful collection of orchid plants. They are exquisite and this new one to your collection must be spectacular...since your rendering of it is! What a beautiful card in lovely "orchid flower" colors. I like your interpretation of "ruffles" too.....wish I had thought of that! : )

Creative of out of the box thinking on this and submitting a ruffle orchid as your "ruffle"! I love it! You colored this beautifully and yes I do know about the more subtle colors of some orchids..love how the center of yours is the more colorful spot..great color shading on this!

Beautifully colored; whenever I think of orchids I think of the Rex Stout novels about the detective Nero Wolfe who collects and raises orchids! Very clever to use a ruffled flower for the challenge today.
