This is my card for the MMTPT209 Whatever the Weather Challenge. I tried to make the weather look like it does here in Oregon at the coast most days during the winter, but I found that the gray watercoloring became very light (almost can't see it at all) once it dried. I even tried to watercolor it a second time with no luck. Oh well, hope whoever gets my card enjoys it anyway!
Used Stazon Black on watercolor paper for the main image. I painted the scene with my watercolor crayons then cut the frame in Marina Mist and embossed it. I stamped the background with some seashells on River Rock and added a couple of Cherry Cobbler brads and the ribbon. Other then my repainting, it was a pretty quick card.

I know the weather you're talking about, we get it here too! But now it's beautiful, with no fog! I love winter weather on the coast, as long as you're tucked away inside. This card is beautiful!!

I'd certainly love it if I got it - when I was growing up, if I climbed one of the trees outside my window I could see three lighthouses flashing away along the coast. When it wasn't misty and I could hear the foghorn instead, LOL. Great card - TFS.
