This is my own little DTGD tradition--my Good Night card--the last card I upload for my most favorite week of the stamping year. Yes, I Dare to Get very Dirty the last week of July--and I love every minute of it.
The cowboy tips his hat to the little lady down in Austin who understands blue. She worked overtime this week making sure we all had a good time. Notice that the light is still on up in the craft room of the little house--a stamper lives there and she is trying to finish her challenge list before Monday arrives and she has to go back to work....and she will go back refreshed because she took time to create something beautiful out of paper.
Thanks, Lydia! ...and thanks to the dozens of Dirty Dozen alumni who created the wonderful paper playground for us this week!
Making of the card: I had fun getting really messy on this card.
To make the hexagon stamps, I found hexagon templates online then cut fun foam stamps in several different sizes. I adhered them to clear blocks and made the sky. The other messy part was rubbing the foreground with ink to darken it a little.
Unfortunately, the vendor is unknown on the cowboy image--bought him unmounted at a yard sale.

What an artful card for a sweet tradition! So "out of the box" (at least for me) to use a strong geometric randomly - thanks for opening my eyes to that! Love the moon, too! Thanks for playing DTGD - and posting your thoughts.
