I went completely off my normal path for this week's color challenge sample. Mary gave us some of my favorite colors and ones that are great in combination together: Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist and Early Espresso and our dessert is to make a masculine card. I had a first plan with a nautical theme and I'll probably put that one together later, but I had borrowed this cute set of cars/trucks from a friend and thought the colors would look great for a little boy birthday card. I used my cloud template to sponge a Marina Mist sky onto a card base in the same color. I tore my Early Espresso hills and glued them to the bottom. I inked my sentiment stamp with markers and stamped onto Whisper White framed with Cherry Cobbler and added ticket corners to both. I added two ribbon accents and a staple. My truck is stamped in Cherry on White and fussy cut. I traced and cut my wheels from Basic Black that had been embossed in the Chevron ef. I punched a small hole through the tires and added a screw brad for my hubcap. The truck is popped on dimensionals onto my dirt hills. I used a scrap of torn Espresso to add a load of dirt in the back of the truck.

Wonderful details went into making this adorable child's card. I like the marker work with the sentiment and the cute little ribbon tags. Great wheels too! TFS
