We're travelling the world with Jett Setter for the Tickle a Teapotter party this week.
I must admit that as I've had a rotten headache for the last couple of days I was going to take the easy option and the teapot cue and go to Paris. After all, I just love Paris and we go as often as we can. But since I often make Paris cards, I thought I'd ring the changes. At first I was going to do coral and fishes for the Barrier Reef, but then I remembered one of my very (count them on one hand!!) few digital purchases.
So I'm going (virtually only, alas) Down Under, and while it will be lovely to visit my favourite brother-in-law, maybe I can also get to see Susie and Sue.
I'm sorry it's not a very exciting card for whoever gets it, but I hope they'll like the critters as much as I do.
A2 base, sponged with Squeezed Lemonade and stamped with a travel-themed stamp image in Tea Dye.
Angels Landing Aussie Animals printed on white card and coloured with Polychromos. (Not having Copics makes digital images a bit harder to colour!!). Masked, and the foreground sponged with Tea Dye and Forest Moss. Stamped along the top with a leaf from Just Beakause in Versafine Olympia Green, then sponged the sun and sky with Squeezed Lemonade and Tumbled Glass.
Carte Postale sentiment is SU, and Wish You Were Here is from Starving Artistamps.

Hi neighbour. Looks like you're sending some lucky teapotter to Australia. There's a country I haven't been to yet. If you want to watercolour digis supposedly heat setting the printer ink stops it from running. If you try it let me know if it actually works. Back to your card...I love your critters and they are coloured beautifully.

Sabrina, what do you mean this card isn't exciting? Why just look at those critter's precious faces.....all smiley! Love your fun card and write up. Hope your headache goes away. Say, as Elizabeth said, heat dry your printed digis and then I spray with a fixative. Works for me....sometimes. hehe Love your card! TFS :0)

Hope you feel better soon Sabrina. So glad to see Australia represented as a destination, because it's very high on my wish list of destinations. The animals are adorable. (I used to collect koalas, and there are still a few of them around my house.).
