My first entry to the Mixability Challenge. My background paper is from Prima's Sunrise Sunset collection and is the ledger sheet. I used a homemade lattice stencil and some homemade texture paste. I stamped the butterfly once on the card front and then again so I could cut it out and pop dot it up for some dimension. I used a few colors of Tim Holtz Distress Inks to stamp my butterfly and also on the texture paste to grunge it up a bit. I then took my charcoal pencil and edged each of the lattice squares to add some additional dimension and around the outside edges of the card. http://mytherapyroom.wordpress.com/2...making-skills/

Glad you're playing along! Love the subtle grids on your butterfly (I was just looking at one I had on my desk and thinking it would work for this technique!) and your bg is gorgeous!

I am very intrigued by this homemade texture paste as well! I love that big butterfly. Sigh. I will have to put it on the list of wishes. Hahaha that's a mile long. I think you've made a gorgeous work of ART! Thanks so much for playing my challenge!
