This meets two challenges today: Birgit's Mixability challenge to make a bright, missed media Christmas card and the Free for All to be inspired by a Christmas Carol. I also had some Pinterest inspiration from anawesome Bokeh effect photo. I used Lydia's great Bokeh background tutorial to create my background. I started by swirling white acrylic paint over the entire piece of Soft Sky paper with a paint dauber. I inked up just the village with my Pacific Point marker and stamped in the center. I took both gold and blue Gelato and smeared onto an acrylic block. I wet this with water. I then inked the eraser end of my pencil into first Tempting Turquoise ink then the wet Gelato mix and stamped multiple times with each inking. After this was dry, I added glitter pen stars. The large top one wasn't showing up quite as much as I wanted, so I took a Sharpie paint pen and made a white star then added highlights over that with the glitter pen. I then sponged around first with Turquoise then Island Indigo at the edges. I lost some of the Bokeh effect, so I added back some more stamped circles with just glittery water or plain water. My sentiment was inked with a marker as well to omit the snowflakes on the stamp. I framed with silver and put it on a base of Turquoise.
