My very close 1st SCS girlfriend "suen" since 2005 who Inspires me with her CAS style and now how she uses die cuts so creatively. Dawn's F4A253 A CASE of Admiration Challenge was the perfect opportunity to honor Sue.
I chose Sue's Bird of Sympathy Card because of her leaf background and use of the Woodland Branch Die and the die cut bird. I had the branch die and a different bird die cut that has 4 little birds. I got both dies because of the beautiful cards Sue has made. See how you Inspire me my friend :-)
My card is also for this week's CC511 color challenge by Barbara to use White, Crumb Cake and Old Olive. I did add the little blue birds, but I could not help myself..LOL!
Thank you again Sue for being such a special friend and sharing your life and loves with me :-) We do have fun and even got to meet IRL a couple of years ago:-) We spent a glorious non stop chatting for several hours, while our DH had fun visiting too :-)
Your friend forever, Nancy

I love the way you blended color in those magnificent leaves, Nancy and that branch is one of my favorite dies! It's so versatile and the perfect perch for your little blue birds. Chuckles on adding blue too! I had to add a bit of yellow to mine. What a lovely tribute to your friend!

The way you have placed your glorious leaves makes me feel the breeze that is coming through the trees and rocking your little birds! I love that blue with that green. This is such a fresh looking card!
