This week, we have a gorgeous palette for the color challenge! Kim H has asked us to use blackberry bliss, pear pizzazz, and pool party. The dessert option is to use your favorite embellishment.
I love ribbon. All kinds! Satin, twill, striped, sheer...I can't get enough of it. I am terrible at tying bows, so I often do knots, or use ribbon as a stripe, as this card shows.
I recently found out that a particular famous stamper does not like ribbon. I was a bit disillusioned! I won't name her, in order to protect her from shame. *wink*
It is not often that I use black for a card base, but since I have this large silhouette stamp, I thought it would be a nice change of pace.
Hope you can play along this week! (My last week as a Guest Design Team Member!)

Oh my goodness, I love the way you used this silhouette stamp, sponging the background for sky and grass. It really makes the image seem real! Love the way you used your ribbon, too. Sweet!

This is so pretty Kim!! I love the way you sponged the colors on the image panel. The dp goes very nicely with this as well. You also did a great job with the ribbon. I like that ribbon. :>)

I love your image and the beautiful sponging! The pleated ribbon is just awesome. I can never get my ribbon and bows to look right but your pleated ribbon is beautiful!
