Tried watered down glue technique but I failed (this was after discovering a dried block of crackle paint in my bottle). I ended up heating the glue and that made it bubble which I then sanded to have some color show through. Stamped with more paint with background stamp and then watercolored poppies. They looked "flat" and I found some Tim Holtz crackle glaze that did the trick! Woohoo! Never expected do use these corner dies again but glad I could

What a fabulous arty background. I actually really like the look of heated glue - I do it with Perfect Pearls sprinkled over and it makes great backgrounds for space themed cards! The yellow poppies just sing against the blue.

Sometimes things don't go as planned but then those are the times we are often pleasantly surprised. I like your final results!! I have that same corner die from years back and have not used it recently. It is a real classic and looks nice with your poppies.
