Thank you Shirley for the great challenge this week! I have had this stamp for a while and have never used it. But I had to this week as it resembles my beloved dog, Penny.
My husband travels A LOT, and several years ago gave me a Shorkie puppy for companionship. I named her Penelope after the wife of Odysseus in Greek mythology. She waited 20 years for him to return from the Trojan War - Homer's "The Iliad" and "The Odyssey". Penny and I patiently wait for our guy to return (fortunately we don't wait THAT long!)
And the second tale - I use her name as my user name. My actual name is French and usually mispronounced, so I use Penny.
Penny is colored with Copic markers and her nose is covered in Crystal Effects. I dotted some paper in strawberry slush, punched out a heart and used an epoxy sticker. I added the sequins for a little sparkle (it fits her personality which is VERY sparkly!)
