Happy Saturday, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge is to find inspiration from the China Online Museum....so many beautiful works of art there! I fell in love with the colors in this beautiful painting and used them in two different masculine birthday cards. I will also be submitting this to the SCS Fan Club 'More is More' Challenge, 'Word Play', and 'Central Theme' of 'Forest Friends'. There are a lot of masculine birthdays in my family this month, so thought this would be a good opportunity to play in the MIM challenge. I have used the 'Deer Silhouette Greetings' set by North Coast Creations (sister company to Our Daily Bread designs). For both cards, white panels were cut with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rectangles Dies, sponged aqua, green, yellow, and gray inks in the background, stamped the images in black, and added some paper piercing. For this 'more' version, a black frame and sentiment panel were cut from the same die set and popped up with foam tape. See the CAS version HERE . Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

Angella, your background sponging is gorgeous. It's the perfect backdrop for your silhouette deers. Even though your card has lots going on, it still has those classically crisp and clean lines for a masculine card.

Fantastic masculine card! Your sponging is SO seamless it looks just like the early morning sky! My skies often look like a heavy load of air pollution just floated by. :-) I love both cards!

Stunning Angie!! Love the scene you've created which is perfect for those difficult 'MAN' cards!! Love the colours, layout, the pierced elements and the black makes it all pop!! Your work is always gorgeous!
