This is my first time making a shaker card and it was fun. I stamped the leaves in the three colors of ink (the leaves are stamped off once before stamping to soften the ink) at random points on the background and then embossed that panel with the Woodland EF. Then I cut the acorn body using a craft knife because the builder punch couldn't punch it where I wanted it. I did use the builder punch for the cap. I embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder. Unfortunately, the photo doesn't show the sentiment too well and there is glare on the acetate sheet. I had fun making it. TFL.

Oh how sweet this is, Catherine. How you ever thought to use an acorn is beyond my comprehension. Love the EF and all those leaves, too. I don't think I told you this but Ive lived in Sacramento twice. The first time we lived in Fair oaks off Sunset Blvd and the 2nd time we lived in Rolesville in Reuter Ranch. John and I still talk about Sacramento. In fact, if we could, we'd move back in a heartbeat, although I'm not terribly fond of your current governor. We sure do miss CA.

Love your acorn shaker! The combination of those wonderful stamped leaves and the embossed trunks is the epitome of autumn! They are the perfect background for your acorn and 'Thankful' sentiment.
