This is for last week's Alpha challenge featuring the letter 'W'. Being a double challenge, we had to look out our windows and try to incorporate what we saw into the card. The kitchen window looks out over the back yard, where I used to have flower beds, that I am now trying to turn back into lawn. Currently there are still lots of perennials there, but seeing as I don't weed it anymore, those beds are full of weeds and wildflowers. The silhouette I chose looks sort of like that too. I started with smooth watercolour paper and created a sunset scene with watercolours. Then stamped the silhouette image. The base paper is a wonderful shimmer white paper I found in my stash. I embossed the top part of it and stamped the sentiment below the embossing. Added a ribbon and then mounted the image on a black mat and dimensionals

Wow - what a wonderful view from your window! Love your sunset and the silhouette images look great on it. Nice die-cut to frame it and lovely embossed background. Well done for Letter W. TFS

Ina, what a view. If you ever need more weeds, just let me know. I seem to have an abundance of those darn things. I see a hint of red in your sky, which makes it all that much more alluring. Beautiful work on this one.
