The challenge was to CASE our favorite card that had been made for the TGIFC challenges in August. I chose Chloe's floral arrangement card she did for #TGIFC67 (http://chloscraftcloset.blogspot.com...r-of-love.html)
My glass jar stamp was from the 1994 'Jar of Fun" stamp set. I heat embossed the jar onto vellum, the watercolored the "water" inside the jar using my Aqua Painter dipped into Island Indigo ink. Because the vellum buckled after water coloring it, I ran it through my Xyron to apply adhesive over the entire back of the jar to ensure I could attach it to the Whisper White cardstock solidly without any adhesive showing through the translucent vellum.
The flowers were cut using Stampin' Up! dies. The Flirty Flamingo flowers are stacked two die cutouts on top of another to add fullness. Their centers were stamped with Island Indigo ink. Flowers were attached to the white panel using Mini Glue Dots and foam dimensionals after randomly stamping leaves in Smokey Slate.
The sentiment is from the Jar of Fun stamp set cut out with the Banners Framelits die.

Your card is absolutely gorgeous Donna. The buckled vellum actually gives it a fantastic effect and I love the tip of putting adhesive all over the back so it doesn't show through. Thank you for choosing my card as your inspiration and for joining us at TGIF - Chlo x

Fabulous card Donna! A lovely take on Chloe's card! I'm going to have to agree with Chloe and Holly and say that I love the buckled vellum look. It makes the water look a little bit more life like and adds another element to your card. Thanks for playing along and I hope we see you again next week at TGIF Challenges. Rochelle xo
