This is for CAS394 that requires a one layer card with a nature themed stamp. My card is clean and simple for sure. I simply embossed a double-stitched rectangle on the card front and stamped an autumn leaf covered in various fall colors. I stamped the "many thanks" sentiment in metallic gold. And that's it!
I need to share a story about this card. I made this card early Monday morning. I had it completely finished and got distracting by a knock on my door. I left my craft room to answer the door. After my visitor left, I went back into my craft room to take a picture of the card. I COULD NOT find the card!! I looked and looked, and couldn't find it. I looked through the trash, through paper scraps, and everywhere in my craft room but couldn't find it.
Tuesday rolls around and I keep searching. No card found! So I gave up! This evening, I sat down at my craft table to make a card, pulled out my desk drawer, and guess what was in the drawer? You're right, it was the card!! I must have slipped it in the drawer when I left my craft room to answer the door!
Let me tell you that it's a pain growing old! Memory is one of the first things that goes!! I have no recollection of placing this card in that drawer, and that drawer is the only one I didn't check Monday and Tuesday!! Lord help me!!
TFL and leaving comments!
Bev

Happens to me all. the. time. Bev. And makes me feel absolutely crazy! I so get what you went through, but at least you found it, lol. Your card on the double stitched embossed piece is so neat. Beautiful leaf and really great font on that sentiment.

LOL Bev I can so relate to your story, after reading the mystery and the comments by Shirl, Helen and Holly, the five of us are going to have a brilliant time in the Splitcoaststamperville old folks craft home!!! All jokes aside, this is beautiful my friend and very versatile, I can picture this as a get well or sympathy card too. TFS
