After I saw Kim Jolley's tutorial for the tie dye background this morning, I desperately wanted to try it but I had no bleached coffee filters or baby wipes (I know, I must be the only stamper in the universe without baby wipes). I decided to improvise using a used dryer sheet and stampin' sponges. The results weren't good enough for a whole card background, but worked for a banner mat. More details in this post on my blog: https://stampwithdiane.blogspot.com/...x-tie-dye.html
Thanks for looking!

Your improvisation worked beautifully and I give you credit for thinking of alternative ways to achieve your goal. Your card is lovely...especially the image banner.

Diane, your card is wonderful! You took a small stamped image and created a wonderful card around it. That's called skill! I love the tie dye banners that you added for today's tutorial.

LOL - Diane - There are 2 of us that never got baby wipes and I'm the other one!!! When I tried a technique that called for them, I substituted Clorox sanitizing kitchen wipes which seemed to work exactly the same. . . I love that dp you used and the telescoping banners look great with the repeated color theme from the layer cake.
