DTGD(Dare To Get Dirty) is a week packed with challenges and prizes for our Fan Club members. The event runs from July 28 through August 4th, with 5 or more challenges each day... so many Dirty Girls providing inspiration for an amazing week!

I had so much fun combining Robin and Janine's Challenges. I used a foil background from my stash that had been dry embossed for texture. The foil came from a scrap that had been used for Alcohol Ink smooshing. I learned this technique from my girlfriend Christine aka "calex" at our Retreat in May. Such a cool shiny metal effect. I now have several pieces of foil with AI's saved for future backgrounds:-)
Enjoy and hope you get to play along this week with the fabulous DTGD17 Challenges. Hugs..

Really pretty colors on your feature panel - smart use of this technique. Also- love the scale of the stitching on your frame - hadn't seen that die - thanks for your work - and the first item on my wishlist for this DTGD season,

Very cool idea with the alcohol inks, Nancy! I have several ... but the only nicely weighted metal sheets I have are copper. I may need to look those up & get a little inky soon!
