Again, this is me thinking outside the box with the new Spooky Cat set. I used a combo of new & retired products. Let me know how you like it. Thanks for looking.
Details:
Berry Blast: 4 1/4" x 11 = base
Delightful Daisy: 5 1/4" x 4 = matte
Whisper White: 5" x 3 3/4" = Focal Point
Whisper White: 2" x 2 1/2" = Cat
Notes:
I used the Daisy Delight stamp set on the grass/flowers. I used Crushed Curry, Old Olive & Lemon Lime Twist to create the "grass" in the garden. On the "weeds" with a small bloom I used Crushed Curry for the stem & Wisteria Wonder for the bloom. On the Cosmos I used Garden Green for the stem & Berry Blast (stamped off once) for the bloom, with Soft Suede for the outline.
For the tree I used the tree from the retired set Among the Branches, stamped at an angle. For the Robin, I used one of the birds from the retired set Thoughtful Branches. When I colored it in and tried to stamp it with the markers, I discovered the ink would bead up before I could apply it to the branch. So I said, "To heck with that, it looks tacky!" I then stamped the bird on the branch in Crumb Cake & then went back with the fine tip of my markers (Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, & Crushed Curry) to color the Robin in like a coloring book. Worked better than I thought it would. I used one of the leaves from the retired set Itty Bitties in Old Olive & Crushed Curry to stamp my leaves on the tree.
The cat is punched out of Whisper White, I inked up the eyes in Tempting Turquoise and the nose & mouth with Soft Suede. I created a mask of the eyes using a Post-It note & then sponged the "mask" of a siamese cat on over top in Soft Suede. I then sponged in the tail, front legs, ears, hint of the hind legs, & some soft markings on the body in Soft Suede as well. I outlined the white of the cat's eyes with a fine tip artist pen. (A .05 or smaller) I turned over the cat and burnished it around the outer edges and over where the curve of the hind leg would sit to give her some dimension. I mounted her with dimensionals.
Enjoy!!
