This card uses a technique of tiny splatters of glitter. Here's how to do it:
How to Create Tiny Splatters of Glitter:
First, protect your surface! I keep a plastic placemat in my stamping area that I use for these occasions.
Next, mix liquid tombow glue with some water. I like to put this mixture in a small, round plastic lid leftover from a stamping accessory IÂ’ve used up. When youÂ’re done doing this technique, you can rinse out the lid and reuse it again.
Using an inexpensive paintbrush (I always grab one from the kids), dip the brush into the watery glue. Hit the brush with your hand or bone folder to get it to splatter everywhere! (thatÂ’s the fun part!)
If there are specific areas of the card that you want sparkle, we can do that, too. Turn the paint brush over to the hard tip (opposite side of the brush). Dip the tip into the watery glue and put a dab of the glue onto your project. Repeat as necessary.
Add glitter to the card and shake off.
Enjoy how beautiful it looks!
ItÂ’s a great technique and every time IÂ’ve used it, IÂ’ve LOVED the result. It adds so much beauty to our cards. I know once you do this once, youÂ’ll be hooked.
