I used the color inspiration for my bg from this image here.
For my bg: I used a variety of sponging, stamping, and stenciling until I was satisfied. I applied some white gesso to the edges with my fingers, and then sponged black ink for some definition. Splattered some black ink and diluted white acrylic paint. I die cut my bird and branch, stamped the sentiment. Adhered the bird and branch to my card front with dimensionals, which is putzy but makes such a difference!!

Ooh, I love that beautiful background you created...just fabulous. Yes, those dimensionals do make a difference. This is a beautiful card with super colors.
