I was not sure initially how to make today's Color Challenge colors into a fun birthday card for the Cards for a Cause challenge. But the Watermelon Wonder color is bright and happy so I focused on that. I stamped the striped background and the monster image in Smokey Slate ink. I colored the striped background with alternating colored stripes. Then I used Copic makers to color the monster. I used a small balloon from Button Bear and made a cluster of balloons. The balloons and the greeting were stamped with black in so they would stand out enough. I also added black to the eyes with a micron pen. Monster was cut out with matching die.

Well, that's about the cutest little monster ever and this bright color is perfect for it! Love his smile and bunch of paper pieced balloons. The striped panel is great, too.
