Color challenge colors are vanilla, merry merlot, shaded spruce. I do not have any shaded spruce and was about to play with emerald envy but then remembered I had the glimmer papers. This started out to be a Christmas card, but I do need an anniversary for my dh which is Dec. 1st. So, this will work perfectly. It was all decorated for Christmas where we got married! And he does like these colors so I think this will appeal to him.
I painted most of the embossed vanilla with the sparkle brush. I used the winterfun die which has the tree and a star which I had left intact and I also got the little glitter dots when I diecut it. I popped up the star and 1 tree with dimensionals and glued the merlot tree down with Tombow multi. TFL

Your trees look so pretty on that hill and the falling snow is just perfect. It is such a pretty card and just perfect for a Dec. anniversary. Happy Anniversary to you both.

Excellent December anniversary card. Love the two trees for the two of you and how you placed them closely side by side. Terrific sparkle!
Nicely done with the colors. Happy Anniversary! TFS

Very clever idea for your anniversary card for your hubby - the pair of trees, cozied up together on that pretty Snoopy stitch line makes for a lovely reminder of togetherness! Love the scattering of glitter dots above the trees, they echo the embossed bgd. Very cool Anniversary card and your hubby is sure to enjoy it! TFS

Oh wow Shirl, this is one gorgeous Anniversary card my friend. I love the sparkly trees done in different colors with the shimmery falling snow in the background. I also love how you did the star, the sentiment and the sparkly dots all in the red and green. The stitched snow bank is really fun and whimsical too. I know DH will love this gorgeous card you made for him! Fun! And Happy Anniversary a little early my friend. ~Karen.

Love the dot embossed background, creating snowfall and your glittery trees and stars. Love the curved stitched line to represent the ground for your trees to rest. Great winter season anniversary card!
