This is my sample for the WTUI challenge this week. I'd hoped to make another, but between the holiday Monday and various appointments, I've run out of time.
You'll be able to find the challenge HERE.
I used distress re-inkers on watercolour card to create the background (mustard seed, mowed lawn, squeezed lemonade, peacock feathers) and then used my homemade stencil to sponge the circles in. Die-cut the square, and cut a circle from the centre of it. Stamped the flowers and sentiment on the circle, and then die-cut a circle from foam to pop the circle up with. I used a blue pencil to colour the grass, and and SN clear glitter pen on the dragon pods. I recently stamped and coloured the full set of TH butterflies, and this was the one that looked best on the card. (watercolour paper, Inktense pencils)W

I spotted this yesterday and I was so taken with the bright yellows...the bg, the pods, the butterfly...love them all! I'm also a big fan of the bokeh technique which kind of adds a subtle glow to the bg. The popped up circle design is really fun (might borrow that)...Fabulous card Sabrina!

This is one of my favorite techniques and used it too for my card. Beautiful card.
