I made this card for this week's Featured Stamper who is Gracie (aka Judy- JRHolbrook). I am thrilled to see Gracie as this week's featured stamper so this is my 2nd card I am CASEing of hers this week.
I need a card for an older gentleman who has very simple, yet elegant tastes. He adores old, vintage cars like the Ford Model A. I am not sure if this image is a Model A or not, but it is of that era I would say. I was making this really hard so when I spied this absolutely fabulous card Gracie had in her gallery I knew this was the one: Car Trouble? by JRHolbrook at Splitcoaststampers. I have giggled for 2 days over the sentiment on Gracie's card. Ha!
My card is a simpler version of Gracie's fabulous card and that is because it is just perfect for who it is going to. The designer paper had some shading in a couple of corners so I added TH distress ink around the entire edges of the designer paper in order to make it look consistent.
Thank you Gracie for helping me get another card made. Enjoy your truly well-deserved week in the spotlight too! Hugs! ~Karen.

This is such a great vintage car image and I'm sure your friend will love it. I especially love the paper you used in the background. It added lots of interest without distracting from the car.

Great vintage car card Karen! I love the chevron paper as it is the perfect background for that cool car. Karen, I'm so appreciative that you took the time to case 2 of my cards! Hugs my dear friend and I'm so glad I gave you a chuckle this week!
