I made this card for the Friday Free For All Challenge, F4A512 - Red & Green - 12/13/19. The challenge was to make a card featuring red and green.
This card was inspired by a sample cut I made on a strip of cardstock using a new set of tiny circle dies that have Woodland scenes inside the apertures. The sample languished on my stamp table for several days, getting mixed in with the discards from other card projects. It was when I was tidying up that I happened to pick up the Woodland diecuts and noticed some leftover strips of red card stock. Shazam! The strip was the perfect width and the little diecut scenes popped on top of that lovely red!
After that, the card came together quickly. I opted to use the red checkered dp from SU Toile Tidings, mounted on a Real Red card base...admittedly, I borrowed it from another card-in-progress, which is why it went together quickly! Ha...I also borrowed the the green pine sprigs with SU Snowfall puff paint from another card waiting to be finished. Am I the only one who snitches parts and pieces from other projects because Iâm in too much of a hurry to make new ones? Please tell me Iâm not!
The diecut sentiment has two layers - the top is natural colored, the second layer is Real Red. I dry embossed the sentiment with the SU Subtle EF after I glued them together.
Thanks for popping by and looking at my Red & Green creation for the challenge. May your Christmas be a blessed one!

Beautifully designed card. I love those circle dies with the woodland scenes. You finished it perfectly with the little pine leaves and nice sentiment.
