When I couldn't get inspired about what I wanted to make last week, I decided to just play around with inks and make some backgrounds. I used some distress inks and a water brush to make this background and although I loved the colors together, I couldn't see what I could use it for as felt the stripes were too big and bold. I am fairly new to SCS and found I am LOVING the challenges to help me focus and try something new! When I saw this painting challenge at first I thought this one wasn't for me as I don't have any 'paints' but then remembered the inky backgrounds I had just made. Suddenly, I knew exactly what this one was to become! Sadly as time passes, I find I am needing more and more Sympathy cards and after I had created this it seemed perfect.

Wow, this is just great. I'm more than pleased that the challenges are inspiring you and helping you figure out what you want to do. I think those DOx inks are a wonderful invention. Beautiful blending of those inks.
