The first Stamp set I bought was this one called Quilts give Comfort. It isn't even listed on SCS. One of the things that drew me to it was the stitching lines around all the images like they had been appliqued to a quilt. That is also one of the things that dates the set though now. I do still use an image or two out of the set once in a very long while. I updated it by drawing a grid on white CS with a Caligraphy Pen and ruler. Then I stenciled patterns on each section of the grid and lightly sponged on some BG color to each section as well. Then stamped the images in Memento ink and colored them in with Copic markers. The inside has the little row of hearts across the bottom and a black line separating the hearts from the top part.

How funny - when I saw Cathy with Button Bear I was thinking that Quilts Give Comfort is probably my oldest SU set, and I was going to pull it out and see what I could come up with. I like your tone-on-tone colour blocking for hte background.
