I stamped this lighthouse from Karen when she visited me 1 1/2 years ago. Most lighthouses in NC are black & white. Colored with stampin'blends and sponged the edges in saffron and blue. I liked the idea that even though the storm clouds are there, the saffron represents the sun is on its way. The black panel is popped up and the crumb cake panel was stamped using the Canvas bg stamp. Thanks for stopping by! ~Roberta

Of course anything nautical attracts me and this is classic a ocean lighthouse and beautifully framed, too! I thought your background was DP - surprised to see it is a canvas stamp. The double black framing is perfect.

Learned something....didn't know most lighthouses on NC shores are black/white. If you're out at sea, you might have a good idea where you are. : ) Your lighthouse panel is beautifully done, Roberta...and the entire card design is so pleasing.
I love the image and how you colored it, Roberta, but more than that I am astounded by how symmetric your card is - the margins and the matting are perfectly even! Fabulous card!

So classy/classic looking. I really love the fresh look of this card, Roberta - brilliant designing! I want to read that book you picked too! Hugz
