In designing Amara's card, I found 13 challenges that would fit, listed below:
.1) F4A582 - Free 4 All Challenge/ Mellow Yellow - 4/16/21. Challenge: use yellow on your card.
.2) DINSP0421 - Fan Club Monthly Theme--April 2021/ Grand Opening - 4/15/21. Meeting the theme, my card is all about celebrating the opening of spring with sunny, spring colors. I used the photo inspiration...the vase with the yellow petite flowers was my inspiration for my floral patterned paper.
.3) S2S21FEB - Stamp 2 Save (aka Stamp 2 Support One Another)/ Sending Sunshine - 2/1/21. Challenge: your sunshine could include: sunny scenes, a sun, the word sunshine, color yellow, a sunset or sunrise sky, etc. My card is full of sunny yellow.
.4) AOCC - All Occasions Card Challenge/ June - 6/1/21. One of June birthday cards needed.
.5) USEIT2021 - Use It Challenge/ June 2021. This is an ongoing/ annual challenge requiring you to use old, long unused items gathering dust AND/OR old/ new items purchased but seemingly forgotten...never opened or used! My OLD items: SU--2014-15 All Abloom dsp stack; DCWV Glitter stack...can't even remember when purchased...at least 10 years ago (die-cut oval frame & golden yellow ballerina skirt) & SU--Tempting Turquoise (retired cardstock).
.6) ABC11Y25 - Alphabet Challenge--Round 11/ Letter Y--Double Challenge: Youngster - 8/21/19. My letter Y = YELLOW. My Double Challenge...my card is for a youngster's 2 yr. birthday!
.7) MSP21 - Misti Monthly Mondays--May 2019/ Patterned Paper Die-cut - 5/6/19. Challenge: use patterned paper, your creation or purchased, for paper piecing, die-cutting, etc. My card features an oval die-cut of the patterned paper behind the ballerina and framing. I paper pieced all the body parts and dress bodice, but they are not patterned.
. IC695 - Inspiration Challenge/ SNURK = 3/30/19. My inspiration was this ballerina duvet cover for my ballerina card: Ballerina Duvet Cover!
.9) FS628 - Featured Stamper Challenge/ No Bikini Required to Visit This Island...islandyu aka Heejung Hunsberger - 2/17/19. Heejung has a lovely gallery, which I thoroughly enjoyed browsing. I chose this card: SU Sale-A-bration for You! for its layout, color, and lacy oval. I kept the idea of the layout with the oval feature, kept the yellow color, but added blues as well, and kept the lacy oval, but made mine a die-cut rather than stamped. I kept the florals in the tiny florals in the patterned paper, changed the theme to Birthday for a young, added more layers, and a ballerina.
.10) MIX286 - Mix-Ability Challenge/ Funkie Junkie - 7/20/18. Challenge: use fabric in your creation. I've used two colors of glitter netting embedded under the ballerina skirt die-cut for more 3D effect. Mediums: Copic Markers (skin, pearl coloring); dye ink (sponging); Wink of Stella-Black (hair to create sheen).
.11) MMTPT506 - Teapot Challenge/ Show Me Your Super Hero Colors - 4/3/18. Challenge: use super heroes OR bright colors, prefers reds, blue, yellows. Recipients are a 3-1/2-year-old (now 6-3/4 year olds) boy/ girl twins. My card focuses on a little girl card using bright colors of yellow & blue, but playing challenge catch-up, it is for my adopted 2-year old granddaughter.
.12) WT656 - Ways to Use It Challenge/ All Fun & Games - 10/5/17. Challenge: playing is fun...show fun & games on your card. What little girl doesn't like to play dress-up, and what would be more fun than to own this little ballerina outfit to dress-up in!
.13) CC645 - Color Challenge/ Delightfully Wild on the Pacific! - 7/25/17. Colors: Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi, Delightful Daffodil. Dessert: nature. I've used several shades of the colors required...Tempting Turquoise & a Pacific Point shade; Wild Wasabi (patterned paper: tiny amount in flower leaves); Daffodil Delight (major color in patterned paper) & Crushed Curry cardbase. Dessert: Do my little flowers count?
Ingredients: Stampin' Up products: Cardstock--Crushed Curry, Tempting Turquoise (ret.), Whisper White. Patterned Paper--All Abloom dsp stack (2014-15). Ink: Daffodil Delight (sponging).
