This week our Teapot Tuesday challenge is to plan a fantasy vacation and design a travel folio describing it.
My fantasy trip is a stamp retreat in the Smoky Mountains. Is there a fella stamper who would like to join me?
We will rent a luxury cabin in the mountains with all the comforts and conveniences of home (and more). There will be seven days and nights to enjoy hiking along beautiful mountain trails (watch for black bears!), evenings relaxing on our huge wrap-around porch watching the sun go down or soaking in the hot tub on the deck (or both), and of course oodles and oodles of hours to spend STAMPING!
What to pack? A pair of sturdy shoes for hiking, casual attire and/or comfy pjs and slippers for stamping, and of course, your stamping supplies! All food will be catered, but feel free to bring along an adult beverage of your choice (I will be bringing a bottle of Cabernet).
Hope to see you soon!

Brilliant! I love your inserts for the folio. I don't know which I like more -the nature one or the super-fun stamping one. And I also really like the trees stamped along the bottom edges. The details on the hiking page are great - I especially like the acorns for the squirrel to gather. I could see beech nuts falling when I was out walking the other day and, since it seemed a bit early, I wondered if there was a squirrel up in the tree.

These day menus are so inviting! Makes me extra excited for your trip. Since this is a fantasy trip, no worried for bears, rattlers, or mosquitos--just tranquility at its best.

Linda - I love that you have your priorities right for this trip - 2 days to get chased by a black bear through the wilderness and 5 days to craft our ART out! Fun folio with the distinctly appropriate inserts. I will be packing a Crisp White for this trip!

Oh - this is just wonderful. What an itinerary. Love the outdoors scenery from this cabin. I specially like the squirrel and his nuts. To top off a wonderful couple of days hiking (oh those knees are complaining) - the rest of the time will be spent crafting. Yes - I can see the pjs and fluffy bunny slippers are just the wardrobe for stamping. I will bring some Tim Tams (delicious Aussie biscuit treats). Will teach you all about a Tim Tam Slam! Doubt the caterers would have heard of them.
