I cannot find my favorite sympathy sentiment from Club Scrap so I computer generated it. I especially dislike 'so sorry for your loss.' A loved one dying isn't like losing your keys; they aren't lost, just not in this earthly realm any longer. Actually, I think they know exactly where they are. Maybe the ones left behind are lost. As long as one has memories, they're never lost.

Oh Jean, this is so touching, I love your write-up. And your card, favourited.
I tend to agree with "sorry for your loss", especially when repeated ad infinitum by a queue of people. I'd never really come across it till my mother's funeral service.

Gorgeous card and perfect sentiment. I agree with your comments on "sorry for your loss" but think often people are at a loss for words. "Sorry for your loss" still beats the comment I got after a few days off following my mother's passing. Someone actually asked if I had a good time! What?

Jean, this is so beautiful. The colors are gorgeous together and that abstract panel is stunning. I had not seen that sentiment before, but I love it and will need to borrow it from you for the future. I am guilty of saying "sorry for your loss" to many because it's what I was taught was proper. But your way is soooooooo much better. Thanks for that. Fav'd.
