Princess Diana was considered quite a fashion icon and with the exception of her wedding gown which (in my opinion) was overdone & hideous, she always looked as if she had just stepped out of the pages of the latest fashion magazine. So in her honor, I have created her dressing room at the palace complete with the coming day's outfit laid out and ready to be donned. I rather liked the sentiment from the SU Antique Collectibles set to emphasize the "In Memoriam" part of today's challenge.

How fun is your fashionable dressing room! All the little details on this are great...I wonder how she would be dressing if she were alive today....still an icon I imagine.
What a lovely scene you created here, Linda! This dressing room, with all the chic fashion pieces, is perfect for the theme! Love the dress form with the red dress (I do remember seeing Lady Di in a dress like this!), the fancy hat on the mirror, the purse and matching shoes!

I love the scene you created with all the fashion elements, especially the mirror. I agree that Diana's wedding dress was over the top. I got married a year before Charles and Diana and had a hard time finding a gown I liked. The late 70's and early 80's were not kind to fashion. Great card!

What a fabulous dressing room you have designed, Linda, and the dress, in particular, is something I could see Princess Diana wearing! She certainly was a fashion icon, even in gym gear!! This is a super card for this challenge!

Ooh, lovely. I especially like the hat and shoes. I used to wear hats a lot, got out of the habit when we didn't have a car and never got back into it again, but can't bring myself to get rid of them. Fun mirror, too.

Perfect sentiment....I imagine her dressing room would be quite sumptuous. I wonder if she ever wore fashions that she didn't purchase, sort of like at the Oscar's. Promoting a designer, for example.

Brilliant! What a perfect fashionista scene for this card with also a perfect sentiment. I laughed out loud at your description of her wedding dress. Glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. HA!
