This is for the Color Challenge today with the dessert option being dessert. I wanted the colors to be more muted so I mixed them with white craft ink, a trick I learned from Chris who is part of the CC Design Team.

Who wouldn't like a cake like this IRL?? Your card is lovely and the coloring of the cake is so well done, Jane. TFS the idea of mixing white craft ink to lighten their value.

Clever idea to dilute the colors with white craft ink, and what lovely, soft colors you achieved. This card would be perfect for any celebration--birthday, wedding, anniversary, shower, etc. so versatile and so pretty!

Fabulous coloring on the lovely cake. Terrific tip on mixing with the white craft ink to get more muted shades. Wonderful layout. I thought about using this cake but was unsure of these colors for it; you made it work out beautifully. Very nicely done!
