I will explain my process below because I cannot figure out where I saw this technique to post a link. I'm also unsure what it is called. I need to not wait so long to post my cards or else get a memory upgrade!
-Choose a stamp image with lines that are not too bold and not too far apart. Ink with DOX inkpads, then mist heavily with water until you see some drops. Stamp on watercolor paper. Mist and stamp again on a second piece of paper.
-Clean stamp and let images dry. Reink with DOX and don't worry about having the colors in all the same areas of the image. Do NOT mist, just stamp to add the details back in to the image.
I really like this technique -- an artsy look with no talent required
