Angie's challenge today is renewal, and one of her suggestions was recycling. For this card, I recycled the foil packet a teabag came in. (I first tried this for a VSN challenge, and decided to try again.) Flattened the packet, embossed it, then dropped some alcohol inks and blending solution on it. Once it dried, I matted it on turquoise paper (another recycled element -- it was from an envelope that came with junk mail). Adhered to white card, and sentiment and a few small snowflake stamps were added.

Wow! This is fabulous! I would have never guessed how the foil started its life! What a super cool idea because it's basically free paper instead of the pricey alcohol ink paper! Fantastic "old to new" Christmas card.
