My bg was made by rubbing gelatos on the paper and using water to blend. I then applied various DO inks over a couple different stencils. I sewed several lines about 2/3 of the way down. I wasn't quite sure how much that would show off so I added some silver starform stickers to the mix. I added some silver leaves and a few spots of white chunky ep to the bg before adding my woman image. She is stamped and embossed and then painted with twinkling H2Os. I embossed the edges using the same platinum powder. TFL!

I like the combined effect of the stitched and sticker lines, and love all the heat embossing. Jean will like your Tolkien quote (I do too, of course).

Polly, this is a beautiful mixed media card, so many wonderful details! I love the embossed lady, the fabulous bg, your stitching and the embossed edges! A fun challenge, too~
