Congratulations to Kim Paden aka berlycece as our Featured Stamper this week, FS798. Her fabulous and extensive Gallery filled me with awe and wonder. I counted FORTY new pins after the slide show ended!
I chose Virtual Neighborhood by berlycece at Splitcoaststampers to case for the Challenge. I am a bit behind on my Christmas cards (since April so 11 more needed during May, this counts as 1) and saw an opportunity to use some old Sizzix dies that have been neglected.
It was not as quick as I had hoped but I am happy with the end result. I did not like any of my reds with the DSP so opted for a non-traditional FLAMINGO to back my houses.
I also needed to make the envelope for this non-standard size.
Inside: May the magic of the SEASON fill your heart and HOME
Stamps: 2017 Hearts Come Home, inside 2015 Cozy Christmas
Paper: Basic White, Soft Seafoam, Flirty Flamingo, DSP 2014 Trim the Tree
Paper Size: 4x7 inches (folded size)
Ink: Flirty Flamingo, (inside) Garden Green
Accessories: dies 2006 Sizzix Home Sweet Home #1 #2 #3 and 2022 SU Waves and PinkFresh Blanket Stitch Slimline; ribbon 2016 3/8-inch Ruched; Dimensionals
Gayle, this is such a great case of Kim's neighborhood holiday cards. I really love the designer paper you used for the background and how it sets off the houses so perfectly. Lovely!

Great choice on the Flamingo. It looks inviting but not blaring and really coordinates so beautifully with the greens. Love the snowflake dp layer. If it wasn't so much work, including envelope making, I'd say you should make 10 more for your month's goal. LOL. Fabulous card.

This is great! I love the flirty flamingo. Non-traditional but very eye-catching.
Thanks for sharing comments on SO MANY of my cards! It was fun to see many older cards pop up. I may duplicate some fun designs. Thank you for making my week as FS so special.
