Barbara has some rather exotic colors for us this week with "birds" as dessert. I just had a couple to pick from and decided that they might work with a black magic type technique. I embossed the images in gold, painted with white craft ink and then added color with pencils once the craft ink was good and dry.
There are so many possibilities with these colors - and dessert. I'm looking forward to seeing what you create!

I love this technique, but am awful at it! Your card is gorgeous, Chris, and the gold really highlights the wonderful image!!

I agree with Karen. Not your usual style, but change is good. It stretches us like putty. Lovely golden outlined bird filled with pink and blue, Chris, and he does look Elegant~
