Diane has a beautiful color combination for us this week and a dessert option of nature.
We're spending a couple of weeks up north so I just took the Season of Chic Bundle, thinking it would be a sure thing for a nature theme, along with a few ink pads.
Luckily I'd left some watercolor paper up here which worked great for softening up these colors on my die cuts.
After an afternoon walk through the woods I decided to make a last minute switch to my Soft Succulent border that would be in keeping with the nature theme. I inked a small fern with Evening Evergreen and pressed it onto a strip. I had previously rolled the strip repeatedly around a pencil so that I could peel it into two layers revealing a soft, flannel like finish.
Thanks so much for looking! I'm curious to see what you will do with these colors

Chris, you get first prize for a true NATURE theme, with your honest-to-goodness fern used as a stamp. I love it! Beautiful watercoloring on this lovely bouquet of flowers!

This is a very beautiful card! I love that you used a real fern. Your cluster of flower and foliage is gorgeously coloured. Love the grid die cut and bow; they soften the edges nicely.

Beautiful birthday card filled with nature, Chris! Your fern looks so pretty stamped in razzleberry onto the succulent layer. I'm really liking those white leaves in your arrangement. Lovely card~
