Black and Blue...Polly has challenged us this week to fill the Ways to Use It gallery with our creative combinations of color. I've had my Kleenex box just waiting to upcycle. If you are like me, you notice packaging that could be the start of a new art project.
The Joyous die was cut in four colors and then stacked on top of one another. I dry embossed the bottom with a Sixxiz 'Tim Holtz' small snowflake border. I used another on the envelope.
Thanks for having a look. Spring is right around the corner...new packaging will be everywhere!

This is beautiful Susan, I love the layered Joyous, love the acorn and white splatters, and love the big blue leaf from the Kleenex box, the dry embossing is perfect to add a bit of dimension, beautiful card

I have some tissue boxes handy as well, Susan. Do I ever like this one! The gently falling snow is Perfect for a Christmas card and the sparkly Joyous seals it. Lovely creation~

Awesome use of recycling! I tend to do the same thing and eyeball things I have to see how I can use them in my projects. It sure fit the challenge perfectly! Love this!

Great upcycle on this Kleenex box. I love when I find something that normally would get tossed and think oh I could make something with this. I have several of those items in my craft room.

The acorn is so cool, what a great save and upcycle, Susan. The joyous adds so much as does your pretty embossing. Lovely and thoughtful as always. Hugz

This is splendid and delightful....splendid is my word for 2023. I'm purging some of my stuff like Kleenex boxes, trying to get control of my stamping life...one always needs new boxes of Kleenex and I only buy good ones.
