This is a twist on Jeanne's spring colors that I didn't expect to end up with when I sat down to play. I have lots of flowers that i could pretend were spring flowers but what I really wanted was tulips, clearly spring, right? I finally located some in this DSP, which has a BROWN(technically Early Espresso, a neutral) background with uncolored tulips. Not what I was planning but in the end I think that it really makes sense, especially if spring means getting dirty in the garden, something I'm really looking forward to after our long winter.
Thank you so much for looking. I hope you will play along!

Such a beautiful card. That is a wonderful textured background on the cake crumb background.

pretty card Chris- and a great layout. I love it when I see coloring on designer paper and you did a great job of it- What says Spring more than tulips!

Maybe not what you were originally planning but it surely is pretty! I love the layout and the way these colors look against the brown and kraft backgrounds. I love the spray of flowers over the sentiment panel!

I like the thought of the brown as the dirt in the garden. Those tulips are wonderful, Chris. Certainly a Spring-y card!
