It's better late than never, but I combined two challenges for this card, SC122 and WT111. I pressed a flower from a wake I had gone to a couple of weeks ago. The flower was given to my daughter from one of the bouquets. This sympathy card went to one of my hubby's aunt who had been through some difficult times the past couple of months besides the recent death of her older sister. Now there are only 2 living siblings on my hubby's grandmother's side. The oldest sister who just passed away was 92 yrs old! God bless!
I thought my hubby's aunt can keep the flower for sentimental reasons and it was to honor a sweet lady.
For the WT111 challenge, I used a transparency overlay to protect the flower as my Ways to Use It. This is the first time I used the Cricut Jasmine cartridge to cut out the sentiment (size was 2"). I normally stamp or print my sentiments. I ran the letters through my xyron machine but the letters had some sticky residue from the xyron so I had to clean off the residue as much as I could without ruining the letters. The letters are so delicate when you print that small.

This card is just lovely and such a thoughtful gift in itself. Hope hubby's aunt is doing well - my dad is the last of his family and they are not nearly so long lived as your hubby's! You did a fantastic job with this card - it has such depth and is truly just beautiful! TFS and hope you have a happier occasion for your next work of art!
