I needed to make a birthday card for my sister, so I used the opportunity to play with some of my new stuff and try my hand at scratch n sniff cards. If only I had my new ribbon ....
The "sniff" wasn't as strong as I had hoped the first time I embossed, so I used the VersaMarker and embossed it again for a stronger smell.
UPDATED: Here are the general instructions for a scratch-n-sniff card since a few people have asked.
1) Mix drink mix powder (sugar free, i.e. kool-aid, etc.) with clear EP in a ratio of 1:1.5
2) Use VersaMark or Craft ink and emboss as usual with the mixture from step 1.
I used lemonade drink mix on this one for color reasons, but the scent of the lemonade powder isn't as strong as some others. Also, you can use hot cocoa mix for a chocolate smell (make sure it's sugar free).

How do you do the sniff? I haven't tried this yet, but would really like to learn this. Thanks. I like the idea of your scratch n sniff. Thanks so much for sharing and I am sure your sister will love the card. Good job!!!

Love the card! The cake and wheel are great together! Does anyone have other hints/suggestions for the scratch n sniff? I followed the ratio recipe and I don't think that it really worked. (Yours looks much nicer than any of my attempts!)
