Here is my card for LSC150. The challenge was to make a card or project using only one color family. In addition, we were to limit ourselves to two colors, two embellishments, and limited tools. It was not until I was getting ready to upload that I realized that I may have made a mistake- I used antique copper brads on my card, which are not part of the In-Color family. So, if the challenge police come after me, that is okay....
I decided to use some of the in-colors to make a Valentine's Day card. I used purely pomegranite and river rock for the two colors. On the river rock base mat, I stamped the linen bg in purely pomegranite ink (after stamping it off once). I also did this on the large river rock oval mat. I used my nestabilities to make the matting and image panel for the large heart. For the top layer I used whisper white, and stamped the flourish from Baroque Motifs in river rock on it. The large heart is from Loving Hearts (retired) and is stamped in purely pomegranite. I attached the heart with mini pop dots. The sentiment from Part Punch (retired Hostess set) and is stamped in purely pomegranite on river rock cs. I then used the round tab punch to cut out the sentiment image. I wrapped the sentiment tab around a piece of purely pomegranite double stitched ribbon and used mounting tape to hold it closed. I used the distressing tool on the edges of the river rock panels and around the heart. I then used my crop-a-dile to add the brads to the corners and on each side of the heart.
I hope you like my card, even though I broke some of the rules! (; Thanks for looking!
