This is my spooky Tickle card for one of you fellow Teapotters! As you all know, Halloween is my fav holiday, and this card with all of the layers of stamps and color, was fun to make. I hope whoever gets it, will be pleased.
Stamps: 3 SU sets, Tim Holtz
Paper: Paper Studio, K&Co
Ink: SU, Ranger di
Accessories: Prisma watercolor pencils + SU wonder crayons + SU blender pens, Ranger blending tool + pads ?, Zig archival ball pen, Sakura glaze pens, Bic gold metallic pen
THANKS for looking!
BACKGROUND: I have been asked many times, how I layer my backgrounds. Since I don't have my blog set up as yet, I'll write here how I layered this one. K&Co bkgrd paper that has "light" color and white space. Stamp Tim Holtz small script in SU going gray, over all. Then heavily ink and stamp with going gray, the SU batty sky (sorry, don't know name of set) over that. Add Ranger broken glass di w/Ranger inking tool, all around edges, in about 1". With same tool, add Ranger vintage photo di, all around edges, in about 1/2". Darker on edges, lighter moving toward the center. You want to leave the blue "glow" showing through the brown and beyond. With same tool and Ranger wild honey di, randomly highlight with light, swiping motion. Note that if you have "open" images you'll need to mask your bkgrd w/them b4 you stamp it. Any ?s, please pm me.
