I borrowed the "Snow Dust" Penny Black stamp from my friend Jill. TFS Jillie... After using SU inks to watercolor the background I stamped the 2 trees image twice and heat EB with White EB Powder. Then I added the deer from the retired "Winter Post" set. All the edge was sponged with Midnight Muse and Night of Navy.
Instead of covering any of the image up with a sentiment my Christmas sentiment will be inside.
I wish the true colors showed up better. The Midnight Muse has quite a bit of green when watercolored, but the background only shows the blue tones and a bit of the plum. The scene is so pretty and dimensional in real life.

Wow, Nancy, this is just gorgeous! I LOVE the watercolor BG you created and those trees are really wonderful! The deer is perfect to finish off the scene!
