Well, its the final week in April and I have to tell you I have enjoyed playing along this month with these color challenges more than I expected to. ( that perfectionist corner of my brain stresses too hard about "having" the correct colors) and so, the guess work has really made this a challenge for me. This week Barbara has chosen Calypso coral, Peek a boo peach & old olive with a side of Die cuts... so, I assumed that a Poppy would work with those colors based on the names of them and I was surprised the old olive embossing powder turned out darker than the old olive papers and cardstock and I just shrugged and said good enough. There is a closer look at the bloom here on the blog. Barbara, thanks for this challenge (you can find it here to play along) and Ladies, thanks for having me. tfl.

This is so pretty...You really have a knack for a CAS design. I love the delicate flower and how you stamped the sentiment over it...perfection!
About my punch...I do actually use that tag punch a lot..it's a huge one and has 3 different sizes on it...so it does take some hand strength. Some days it's easier to use than others.

Enjoyed seeing your cards this month with the color challenges. This is one very pretty and eye appealing cas card. The kind a person would buy at a boutique. TFS

Both the image and sentiment on your card are so soothing, Stacy; such a lovely message for someone needing to be uplifted. Beautiful coloring of the flowers, and the sketched look of the plaid background adds wonderful texture.
I'm so glad you were able to be a guest designer this month, it's been wonderful to see all your beautiful creations!

Stacy, this is such a comforting card with your loads of white space, the gentle textures and your sentiment. I know I've enjoyed having you in the CC this month.
And I never saw you sweat!

I love all the interest you have one here with the border die and that old olive print. There was an old olive embossing powder? Your sentiment suits the delicate looking poppy!
