Today's WT is about Sparkle.
I've always wanted to try embossing in white, then coloring an image. So when I saw this card I just had to give it a try. However, I did find that some of the white came off and onto the alcohol markers. Won't try this again unless I use water colors.
After coloring, I noticed that the marker color stayed on some of the embossing so I went back with a white gel pen and traced over the lines. The smaller bloom was stamped and fussy cut. I die-cut a cajun & a daffodil border, but in the end I liked the image left alone. Added some rhinestones, Gold Ribbon and Wink of Stella to the prills for my sparkle. The main panel is popped up. Thanks for stopping by! ~Roberta

Wowza this is incredible. I am drawn in to the colors on this card and the gorgeous layers. the ribbon is a beautiful touch and the added bits of sparkle are spot on perfect to not take away from the amazing colors on those flowers. Thank you so much for playing along.

If you have access to a Misti or the like, you could use white ink, use the alcohol markers and then restamp it using the white embossing. You did a nice blending job.

Beautiful card. I tried to find the stamp set and it must be discontinued, sigh. I emboss all the time with my flower images. What I do is stamp first with a light ink in a MISTI or stamp positioner, color the image, and then restamp with VersaMark and heat emboss. No problems with your Copics this way.
